salut a tous,
J'ai passé 2 semaines en Australie entre Newcastle, Gold Coast et MargaretRiver,
j'etais vraiment content de pouvoir resurfer car je n'avais pas mis le pied dans l'eau depuis 3semaines (cauchemar)!
Bilan pas terrible sur les 2 competitions mais j'ai retrouvé presque toute ma flexibilité dans ma cheville.
Newcastle les vagues etaient vraiment pourries,donc je suis allé sur la Gold Coast passer quelques jours chez mon pote Brent Dorrington. C'etait top sur la goldy:surfé snapper et D-bah,j'etais vraiment content de pouvoir surfer beaucoup et retrouver mon surf.
on a passer du bon temps, boire quelques bieres au surf club avec tous les boys de là-bas.
Ensuite je suis allé a Margaret River,les vagues etaient vraiment bien que ca soit en Free surf ou compete...
Oakley avait loué une superbe maison pour tout le team,l'ambiance etait incroyable.
A la compete Occy a fait rever tout le monde avec ses gros turns, je pense que meme s'il a pas gagné la competition:c'est lui le boss de la semaine a 45ans.
Je m'envole pour le Calif demain pour une dizaines de jours..

I spent two weeks in Australia from Newcastle, the Gold Coast and Margaret River,
I was really happy to resurfer because I did not surf for 3 weeks before Oz (nightmare)!
I did bad on the two competitions but I have regained most of my flexibility in my anckle,everything is good now!!
Newcastle waves were really bad, so I went on the Gold Coast a few days with my buddy Brent Dorrington.so much fun: surf at snapper and s D-Bah, I was really happy to surf a lot and find my surfing.
we have a good time, drink a few beers at the surf club with all the boys out there.
Then I went to Margaret River, the waves were really good in Free surf and for the comp.
Oakley had rented a beautiful house for the whole team, the atmosphere was incredible.always FUN
At the contest,Occy make everyone dream with his big turns, I think even if he has not won the competition: he is the boss of the week at 45 years.
Now i going to California for 10 days.

NORTH SHORE HAWAII 2011

HI,
I'm in Hawaii for the past 10 days, the waves were small until now and the swell starts to get bigger,couple big swell on the way.

It's always a pleasure to come back to HAWAII every years and stay at the Oakley House with the OAKLEY Team... good atmosphere between the guys and a lot of motivation ..
it's amazing to wake up in front of Pipeline,i just need to get down the stairs to be on the beach.
There were a few days without waves, we took the opportunity to go to Waikiki and train with Barca, we all had aches for 4 days .. lol

I lost in round 64 in Haleiwa, Adrian Buchan and Tanner Gaudauskas surfing well in my heat, I was needing an other good score to advance.. Now i can be focus for the comp at Sunset for the last event of the year.
Congrats to Taj Burrow to win the comp and Melling to take 2nd place on this event..and thanks for the party..

Je suis a Hawaii depuis maintenant 10 jours,les vagues etaient petite jusqu'a maintenant et la le swell commence a bien grossir plusieurs gros swell sont en chemin.
Ca fais vraiment plaisir de revenir a hawaii chaque annee et de rester a la OAKLEY House avec tout le team...bonne ambiance entre les mecs et beaucoup de motivation..
c'est incroyable de se reveiller en face de Pipeline,juste avoir besoin de descendre les escaliers pour arriver sur le sable...
il y a eu quelques jours sans vagues,on en a profiter pour aller a Waikiki et s'entrainer avec Barca,on a tous eu des courbatures pendant 4jours..lol

J'ai perdu au round 64 a haleiwa,adrian buchan et Tanner gaudauskas ont bien surfer,il me manquait une bonne vague pour passer la serie..Maintenant il faut etre focus sur Sunset pour la derniere epreuves de l'annee.

Bravo a Taj Burrow pour avoir gagner la compete et Adam melling pour avoir fais 2eme...

ASP EUROPEAN CHAMP 2011!!!!

HI,
Im so stocked i just won the ASP EUROPEAN CHAMPION title!!!
I'm in the Azores Island for the last WQS in Europe (6stars prime event)
I lost in the 2nd round so I had to wait until today to find out if I win the title or not ...i was in the lead of the rankingsince Zarautz but the race was tide with Aritz,alain,glenn and vincent..
Alain Riou surfing was the last European surfer in this event...He was needing to reach the quarter final to won the title but he lost 1 round before so got it!!!im the new EUROPEAN CHAMP!!!YESSS AHAHA....
I'm really glad to win this title, it's a good way to close the European season!
I hope to keep going to the rest of the year and try do to my best to get some other result...I did not start the year very well but i had some good results and i have my confidence back!!!!

Je suis aux Acores pour la dernière compete de l'année en EUROPE,
j'ai perdu au 2eme tours donc j'ai du attendre jusqu'a aujourd'hui pour savoir si j'allais gagner le titre ou pas...
Alain Riou etait le dernier surfeur europeen en course et il a perdu 1tour avant les quart.
Dommage pour lui et heureusement pour moi car s'il arriver en quart de finale ça aurait etait lui le CHAMPION d'EUROPE ASP 2011!!
Je suis vraiment content d'avoir gagner ce titre,c'est une bonne façon de cloturer la saison europeene..
J'espere continuer a faire d'autres resultats avant la fin de l'année...
